Surface to depth
From the surface hold you choose a rift and begin the breach. Corruption Tolerance runs down with every step. Extract while you still can, or collapse and wake on the surface with what you kept in the vault.
Cross the breach.
Manage your Corruption Tolerance, loot procedurally generated rifts, and extract before you collapse. No wallet needed for alpha. Curious why every rift feels different? See how sealed history becomes expedition space.

Learn more →Breachwalker is a web-first expedition survival game from Benum Labs. The Hold — a marginal institution born from a Walker's discovery — recruits breachers to enter rifts where corrupted ledger entries have cracked open. You stand on the surface hold, select a rift from the ledger, and breach inward — managing Corruption Tolerance, fighting through procedurally derived space, and deciding when to extract loot to your vault.
Each catalog entry is a different wound in the Record, so danger, scale, and density vary rift by rift. The closed alpha tests whether that loop is worth returning to before marketplace trade and item NFTs on Base join the picture.

Closed alpha starts small. Discord is where invites, build drops, and early feedback land — join before the Hold fills out.
Roadmap
Closed alpha is off-chain — no wallet. Planned: marketplace settlement in Marks, utility-first item NFTs via asset bridge on Base, Coinbase Wallet onboarding, and sponsored minting we are exploring for first-time bridge-out.
Yes. Closed alpha access costs nothing. No purchase, no wallet, no crypto required. You are helping us prove the breach loop is sticky before marketplace and NFT features ship.
No. The closed alpha runs entirely off-chain: no seed phrase, no gas fees, no NFT minting. Wallet connection and the asset bridge arrive on the roadmap after the core loop proves out.
No. The closed alpha needs only a browser — no wallet, no keys, no mempool literacy. Understanding why a halving-era rift hits harder helps you appreciate the world; it is not required to pack your kit or extract. The game teaches breach, extract, and craft. Curious about the archive behind the ledger? The Bitcoin rifts page explains the worldbuilding layer.
Invites roll out in batches — the game is not open to the public yet. Join the alpha list on the signup page; we email when your cohort is ready.
Designed as no pay-to-win. Equippable gear comes from breaches, workshop fabrication, or player trade — not a cash-only gear tab. Marks are one currency for everyone; free-to-play breachwalkers earn them by selling items other players want. Spending fiat is a shortcut to Marks for marketplace convenience, not a gate on the best mythic loot.
Not yet. The closed alpha is fully off-chain — no wallet, no minting, no bridge. You are testing the breach and extraction loop. NFT export arrives on the roadmap after marketplace and live-play validation.
Closed alpha testers will breach early rifts, stress the extract loop, and shape what ships next.
